Learn how to up-pot native seedlings from recent winter sowing. to support pollinators, birds, and other wildlife using the winter sowing method.
These are smaller, hands-on events. These will be informal. Watch for dates in the next month.

Buzz Fest

Join us at an Altlawns Buzz Fest
For four years we gather with partner organization to learn and get inspiration. We will join with our long-standing friends. And this year Hennepin County Climate Change action is bringing allied cities who are making great changes in city planning and resident programming.
Winter Sowing (Jan-Mar)
Learn how to grow native plants to support pollinators, birds, and other wildlife using the winter sowing method.
These are smaller, hands-on events. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors, and empty milk jugs or other containers if you have them!
Each event is free, but registration is required as space is limited. You may also sign up to volunteer!
